A suitable option for a quick break in Hammondsport with great value for money. The multi-berry muffins at breakfast were really good! Just be aware if you have allergies, as the host has a nice pet.

Although the suite provided a beautiful view, it felt on the smaller side, which may cramp those who prefer more space. The mattress had soft sides, and a mysterious sound in the corner of the room raised curiosity-perhaps it was doves settling outside or the refrigerator quietly humming.

Moonshadow B&B is a culinary paradise! Those USDA prime-aged steaks nearby? Absolutely to die for! Janette and Steven are a dynamic duo, serving up breakfast that could make a five-star chef jealous. And let's not forget the cozy outdoor fire pit, perfect for evening chats with new pals!
While our Queen Suite had a touch on the cozy side and the mattress was a bit soft for my liking, the ambiance kept us comfy.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The loft room was spotlessly clean, spacious, with an comfortable king bed and a nice-sized shower. The hotel facilities were excellent, including a game room with a pool table and a cozy outside fire pit that the owner lit for the guests. The location was perfect, as it was very close to all the wineries in the area and a variety of restaurants. We also loved the delicious and gourmet breakfasts with local products and ingredients from their own garden. The staff made us feel welcome, and we were delighted by their friendly dogs.
Absolutely nothing to say about dislikes.

The hotel was a fantastic base for enjoying the calm area. It is really close to restaurants serving good food and the Finger Lakes for a triathlon. - Stephen recommended many great wineries nearby. - Our room had a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control, and a fridge.

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was outstanding. The location is great, close to wineries and attractions. The view from the front porch is stunning, and it's worth getting up early to enjoy it.
There were no major issues during our stay, but the decor was a bit outdated and could use some refreshing. the parking lot was a bit small and hard to maneuver in and out of.

Celebrated Easter in the Finger Lakes area and had the best experience. The hosts were fantastic, very engaging and welcoming. The breakfast served was incredible with the delicious quiche and pancakes - two complementary facts offered. The property was well-maintained and clean, with beautiful surroundings and a great view of the lake - key location facts. We enjoyed the comfort of our rooms, which were cozy and immaculate. Our favorite spot was the porch swing, where we relaxed, shared a bottle of wine and enjoyed the beautiful scenery. a great stay that exceeded our expectations!
No significant dislikes, except for the lack of sound insulation in the Luna Suite. Could hear the guests in the next room pretty clearly.

The B&B offers a beautiful porch where guests can relax and take in the breathtaking views of the lake. Guests mentioned being overwhelmed by the stunning lake views and the feeling of tranquility as they walked through the front door. There are also swings in the front of the property, adding to the peaceful atmosphere. In the Finger Lakes area, guests can explore wineries, breweries, restaurants, and shops.
One thing to consider is that the B&B allows pets, which could pose anxiety or allergies for some guests.
